Session 2 – 13:00 - 14:30

Grab a net, a tray, and a sense of adventure! This hands-on pond dipping session will take you on an exciting exploration of the wildlife beneath the surface.

Swish your net through the water, transfer your catch into a tray, and observe your very own mini pond up close. With the help of our wildlife experts, you’ll identify the fascinating creatures that call Marton Mere home.

Look out for water boatmen skimming the surface, dragonfly and damselfly larvae lurking below, and pond snails gliding along. You might even spot a water scorpion or, if you're lucky, a smooth newt or frog!

Each session lasts 90 minutes, with space for up to 20 people. Don't miss this chance to uncover the hidden wonders of the pond!
