Our women’s class is a monthly space to build strength, safety, and confidence in a supportive environment. Whether it’s your first time learning self-defence or you’ve been before, you’re welcome here — as you are. No judgement, no pressure. Just empowerment, community, and growth.
This class is all about reclaiming your movement and finding freedom in your body. You’ll learn how to break out of common holds and grabs using technique, not strength — and how to stay grounded under pressure.
This is part of our monthly Women’s Club: a space where we train for real-life scenarios in a safe, trauma-informed and supportive environment. Whether you’re totally new or coming back to build on your skills, this class is for you.

How The Club Works
- One class per month, each with a different theme or skill focus
- Trauma-informed, consent-based teaching
- Open to all who identify as women or non-binary and feel safer in this space
- No experience necessary — we’ll meet you where you’re at
⭐ Jessica was a wonderful instructor, it felt like a very safe space but also learned really practical techniques (in particular for those with less strength) and was fun. ⭐
⭐Had a great time at the taster session! It felt safe to get a bit uncomfortable and Jess did a great job at breaking up moves into steps for beginners to follow. I hope to come back for the longer course. Thank you, Jess.⭐

Of course! Our focus is on holistic empowerment, and we want you to feel strong and capable at any fitness level. The techniques are simple and accessible, and our instructors will guide you through them step by step.
There may be some light physical contact while practicing techniques with partners, but always with consent. You’ll never be asked to do anything you’re uncomfortable with, and you’re welcome to opt out of any exercises where you feel unsure.

We keep class sizes small to ensure that everyone gets personalized attention from our instructors. This allows us to ensure that each participant feels supported and can ask questions as needed.
After attending our beginners' class, you’ll have a basic foundation in self-defence techniques. If you’re interested in further developing your skills, we offer continuous beginner classes, as well as a 6 week course. Sign up on our website for email notifications!
