How construction intervention can support social communication

Suffolk SENDIASS is hosting a relaxed online session for parents and carers in Suffolk UK exploring how construction intervention can help children and young people develop social communication skills in school and at home.

The presentation will be delivered by specialist teachers from Suffolk's Communication and Interaction Service. This is one of the 5 specialist education services in Suffolk which support schools to support pupils with different special educational needs.

The session will explore:

what construction intervention is;

how it is used in schools to help your child develop their social communication skills;

how the same principles can be used at home to help your child.

You do not have to use your video or speak in the session if you'd rather not - you can just listen or use 'chat'.
