About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Returning to work after cancer is a very important milestone for most cancer patients as it signals getting back to some kind of normality. However, it’s not always as straightforward as it could be and return to work rates remain low.

47% of those working when diagnosed with cancer had to give up work or change roles as a result of their diagnosis.

This interactive workshop will help you:

  • Understand the impact of side effects on managing work and on the journey back to 'normal'
  • Manage your own and your employer's expectations
  • Negotiate a return-to-work plan and reasonable adjustments

This workshop is free of charge, but we would appreciate a small donation if you decide to attend, which will help us reach more people. You can opt for a donation ticket when you register for this workshop.

Note: we won't record this workshop as we want to provide a safe and open space to allow sharing of any personal experiences.
