What is included in the ticket price?

Ticket price covers a ticket to attend the conference, and catering on the day (tea/coffee, lunch).

Is this a hybrid event?

No, this is an in-person only event. Virtual access will not be possible on this occasion.

Are CPD points available?

We are in the process of applying for CPD accreditation and expect this to be available.

Is abstract submission available?

Yes! Please see our website for more details (deadline 30th June 2025): https://humanfactorsinsurgery.net/2025-conference/.

Is accommodation available?

We are unable to offer accommodation. However, the event is taking place in near the centre of Oxford where there are many accommodation options available if required. Alternatively, the Medical Sciences Teaching Centre is a short walk from the train station.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

Cancellations and/or changes to registrations can be made via Eventbrite or via email to humanfactorsnetwork@gmail.com. Full refund will be provided (minus the ticketing fee) prior to 6th September 2025. After 6th September 2025, no refund will be provided; however, substitutes are welcome.

Are discounted tickets available for students?

A limited number of free tickets are available for students in full time training. Evidence of student status is required within 5 days of registration. Please note this only applies to students on undergraduate or graduate-entry courses and does not apply to post-graduate students (Masters/PhD).
