INSET Briefing - Addressing Online Intimate Image Abuse and Pornography

The Rape and Sexual Violence Project (RSVP) specialist training team would like to invite you to attend their online INSET Briefing - Addressing Online Intimate Image Abuse and Pornography

This two-hour twilight course provides teachers with the opportunity to:

  • Define sexual violence and abuse, and the use of technology in the context of sexual violence
  • Understand the legal context of online sexual violence and abuse and pornography
  • Consider the impact of the accessibility of online pornography on young people’s views of sex and relationships
  • Understand the impact of online sexual violence and abuse on survivors
  • Discuss the impact of ‘Victim Blaming’ survivors of intimate image-based abuse
  • Explore strategies for schools to address this within relationships and sex education

Delegates receive a certificate of attendance, a digital information pack and policy/lesson suggestions.
