You'll get unprecedented insight into what a medical or dental career can offer you – and all the tools you need to maximise your chances of a successful application, led by a King's College Student. Here's how the day will look like:
11:00-12:20- An insight into what medicine and dentistry is, the role of a doctor and dentist, positives and negatives of these careers. Alternative career pathways. Case studies and choosing medical/dental schools.
12:20-12:30- Break
12:30-1:00- All things admission. Work experience, Self reflection, alternatives to work experience,online courses, super -curricular, wider reading and other tips to enhancing your application.
1:00-1:15- Break
1:15-1:45- A look into PBL(problem based learning) looking at how we would tackle a real life case, a look at medical ethics, followed by a Q and A session
