About this event
The Go-2-Tender workshops take place online and are delivered as two x half day sessions (Tuesday 3rd June 2025 09.30 - 13.00 and Thursday 5th June 2025 09.30 - 13.00) and will provide you with the necessary skills to source and bid successfully for tenders.
InterTradeIreland’s award-winning Go-2-Tender programme hosted by Core Growth has been designed to help SMEs across Northern Ireland and Ireland to be more successful in bidding for and servicing public sector contracts.
About the trainers - Dave McClements (Core Growth) is an experienced trainer and mentor, and has developed engaging and relevant training that results in companies winning tenders. He will also be joined by guest speakers from the OGP, CPD and the Strategic Investment Board (SIB).

Registration Process and Documentation
1. InterTradeIreland is a Cross-Border Trade and Business Development Body funded by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment in Ireland (DETE) and the Department for the Economy in Northern Ireland and therefore is required to report on outcomes and results from its programmes. In accepting these terms and conditions, you are consenting to provide the information requested by InterTradeIreland, and its appointed Delivery Agents and to responding to any periodic monitoring requests. This monitoring usually takes the form of short online surveys. The information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence, and in accordance with all relevant and current DPA legislation.
Payments & Refunds
2. The workshop fee is a ‘participant’ fee. More than one participant (per business) may be allowed, but this is dependent on the availability of places, and subject to payment of the additional participant fee.
3. Payment mistakes are the responsibility of the payee and therefore all charges relating to repayment are borne by the payee.
4. “No Shows” - Should applicants fail to attend they will not be eligible for a refund or to transfer to another workshop.
5. Payment is made during checkout. Core Growth is not responsible for incorrect payment processes as clients are inputting payment details themselves. No payment information beyond confirmation of payment received will be retained.
Changes
6. If the nominated participant is unable to attend, a substitute participant can be sent at no additional charge.
7. Participants can transfer to a different workshop, if requested in writing at least 5 days in advance of Workshop Day 1, of the programme currently booked.
8. InterTradeIreland reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any Go-2-Tender workshop. If this becomes necessary, where possible, it will be done:
A. At least 5 working days in advance of Workshop Day 1; and
B. Participants will be notified of the change in writing (via email)
What you Commit to & What You Receive
9. The programme participation fee includes:
A. Two ½ days of workshop participation
B. An electronic copy of the course content / materials
C. The option to apply for follow on mentoring (at no additional charge for certain packages)
Mentoring
10. On completion of Workshop Day 2, mentoring is available to businesses who can demonstrate a need.
11. InterTradeIreland have a panel of experienced mentors that offer one-to-one support should you choose to apply for it.
12. Up to 1, 3 or 5 days of mentor support packages are available following an application process. A maximum amount of 9 days per company is permitted over a 3-year period.
13. The number of days allocated/ approved is at the discretion of InterTradeIreland and depends on budget and availability.
14. In exceptional circumstances, InterTradeIreland may consider granting access to expedited mentoring (once payment & paperwork has been processed).
15. Requests to avail of mentoring are not finite. All applications should be submitted to tendering@intertradeireland.com within 4 months of completing a workshop.
16. Core Growth is not responsible for mentoring.
Frequently asked questions
In order to attend one of the workshops, your company must: Have less than 250 employees; operate predominantly in the Manufacturing and Tradable Service sectors; be based in Ireland or Northern Ireland; and have a turnover of more than £50k and less than £40m (or euro equivalent).
Once you have completed registration we will be in touch with further information and a link for the online workshop. Please note that only those who have purchased tickets will be admitted to the online workshop.
There is a fee of £50 per participant. This entitles you to both half day sessions and once completed your company may be eligible for 1-1 mentoring (up to 9 days 100% supported by ITI). You can purchase multiple workshop tickets for colleagues who would also benefit from this training, however mentoring eligibility is on a per company basis.
