When will I receive my e-ticket?

Once you have completed your purchase of your Isle of Wight Takeover tickets, an e-ticket will be sent to you via email to the email address you provided. Please make sure to check your Junk too!

Question 2

Does everyone need a ticket?

Accepted Answer

YES each ticket admit ONE PERSON!

Exhibitor Vehicle & Driver tickets admits driver and the vehicle to go on show.  Exhibitor Passenger ticket admits a passenger in the car.

All tickets are sent via email immediately after purchase and attached to your email confirmation.

Can I get a refund?

We understand that sometimes plans change, but as per our policy, which is clearly stated on our website and on the Eventbrite booking site, we don't offer refunds on tickets purchased. This is because our plans and arrangements are based on the tickets booked.

Question 4

Can I get a free carer ticket?

Accepted Answer

Yes you must be purchasing at least 1 full priced ticket.  Carer tickets will only be issued on Saturday 18th May (Wristband Collection Day) you must produce proof of carer status; A Blue or Orange badge or Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award.

Can I bring my children to the car show?

Yes, the car show is a family-friendly event, and children are welcome to attend. However, it's essential to supervise your children and ensure their safety during the event.

Are pets allowed at the car show?

Accepted Answer

While the car show focuses on automobiles, we allow pets on a leash.  Please remember this is a car show and it will be loud.

Question 7

Is there parking available at the venue for cars not wishing to show their cars?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is designated parking available for attendees.  This is on a first come first serve basis.  In 2023 we did sell out.

Question 8

Do I need to adhere to my club arrival time?

Accepted Answer

Ensuring that clubs arrive at the specified times is crucial for the smooth operation and overall success of the Isle of Wight Takeover. The reason why it's so important are Efficient Traffic Management: By organizing arrival times, we can effectively manage traffic flow and prevent congestion.

Can I change car clubs from the one I selected when booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes log into Eventbrite via PC.  Edit ticket and change your club.

Question 10

I didn't list a car club when booking my ticket, can I add it now?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can,  on the Eventbrite website.  Follow these simply instructions:

Log on to you Eventbrite Account via PC/Laptop (the mobile site will not allow you to do this).

In the top right the drop down arrow and select Tickets

Select "Isle of Wight Takeover 2024"

Select Edit Ticket

Select Yes

Question 11

How do I show my car?

Accepted Answer

Buy a Vehicle & Driver Entry Ticket, this allows you to show your car and gives the driver entry.

Question 12

Do I need to collect my Wristband Saturday?

Accepted Answer

Saturday is Wristband collection day.  Your ticket is exchanged for a colour coded wristband which you will need to show when entering with your car.

Wristband collection starts from 10am on the Saturday until 6pm.  Without wristband collection your entry will be delayed and you may not be able to
