Join Music in Action at the Jersey Opera House to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Gerald Durrell. This will be an exceptional event fundraising for both the Durrell Wildlife Trust and the Jersey Sings project to help children in schools.
The evening is one of the first back at the refurbished Opera House. It features 150 musicians and children with popular music themes around animals, from Swan Lake to a specially commissioned 'Durrell Suite' performed by a choir with children from Jersey and Corfu where Gerald also had a home.
The music is directed by world renowned conductor Eamonn Dougan and played by the Jersey Chamber Orchestra.
