Kids Film School: 3 Day Holiday Club with Fotonow

KIDS FILM SCHOOL: 3 DAY HOLIDAY CLUB WITH FOTONOW 28th-30th MAY 2025

Join us at Fotonow CIC for an exciting 3-day filmmaking programme during May Half Term 2025! Your child will have the opportunity to learn about the art of filmmaking, from storyboarding to editing, all led by the talented team at Fotonow. It's a great way for young aspiring filmmakers to unleash their creativity and learn new skills in a fun and supportive environment. With a focus on acsessibility and sustainability, using props and materials from Plymouth Scrapstore!

AGES: 8 to 13 years

DATES: Weds 28th - Fri 30th May

TIME: 10.00-15.30

LOCATION: Fotonow CIC, Royal William Yard, Plymoth PL1 3RP

PRICE: £95.00 (for all 3 days)

ACTIVITIES

Weds 28th: Introduction to film, developing their ideas, introduction to the kit

Thurs 29th: Reintrouction to kit , production, introduction to editing

Fri 30th: Editing, poster making, premiere of finished films

Props and materials will be provided, with children learning to use Fotonow's filmmaking equipment! Activities will be contained around Royal William Yard and Devil's Point area.

THE PREMIERE!

Parents are welcome and encouraged to come along from 3pm on Friday 18th for the premiere of the films created throughout the programme.

ATTENDANCE

Our Film School is designed to take children on a journey from idea to finished film, as such we do require children to book for and attend all three days of the holiday club!

WHAT TO BRING

Food: Packed lunch and a water bottle (Some snacks and drinks will be provided)
Clothing: Warm/weatherproof clothing and sensible closed toe shoes (due to being a historical building there are some uneven surfaces)
