Welcome to the Lark Writers' Retreat!

Join us for a day of creativity, inspiration, and connection at The Host Space.

Do you struggle to be creative in your normal environment?

Are you surrounded by distractions that make it hard to concentrate?

The Lark Network invites you to step away from your usual surroundings and join us for a day to focus on writing for your business at our 2025 Writers' Retreat.

Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting out, this retreat is the perfect opportunity to focus on writing for your business. Bring along whatever task you most need to focus on, be that social media content, blog posts, text for your website, or activities for a workshop.

You'll spend the day with like-minded individuals in the serene setting of The Host Space, a beautiful co-working space in Southsea.

This one-day workshop will give you time to focus on writing, in a space where everyone is doing the same.

You’ll find the same approachable and supportive atmosphere that Lark creates at all its events, and we’ll also help keep you accountable to your targets for the day.

Don't miss out on this chance to recharge your creativity and take your writing to new heights. See you there!

Pricing

There is no fixed price for this event. We understand that cost is often a barrier and here at Lark we never want that to be the case.

We recommend a donation of £10, but please don't worry if this is more than you can afford - this event is "pay what you can".

Lunch and refreshments are included.

We are delighted to be able to offer a second Writers' Retreat this year, thanks to generous sponsorship from Jane Barry and Liberty Recruitment Group.

Founded in 2019, the Liberty Recruitment Group was initially a boutique-style recruitment agency called Liberty HR. They work from a lovely, dog-friendly office in Havant, and find the highest-calibre staff for their clients and place candidates across the HR, Learning & Development and Talent sectors. They have also launched a Commercial division and an Accountancy & Finance division in recent years too.

Since the company was launched, Liberty Recruitment has built a thriving and supportive HR ‘community’ and organises regular free events throughout the year. They also stage an annual HR conference, which is now the biggest HR gathering outside of London. They have additionally supported numerous charities and good causes in the local area.

The team at Liberty Recruitment remains passionate about working with local communities and supporting local businesses. This is particularly true in relation to championing women in business. The Liberty Recruitment Group has supported many women into work and continues to do so, hence their eagerness to become involved with sponsoring the great work done by The Lark Network in 2025.
