Flamenco Festival in collaboration with Como No and The Jazz cafe presents: La Plazuela, a duo from Granada, Spain, brings their fusion of flamenco and electronic music to The Jazz Cafe. With their unique sound, they’re at the forefront of a new generation of flamenco artists, blending traditional rhythms with modern beats.
Since their formation in 2017, Manuel Hidalgo Sierra (El Indio) and Luis Abril Martín (El Nitro) have been redefining the genre with their fresh approach, combining flamenco with funk, pop, and electronic influences. Their debut album Roneo Funk Club (2023) has earned them critical acclaim for its exciting blend of old and new sounds.
Tracks like “Tangos de Copera”, “El lao de la pena”, and “Péiname, Juana” have already made waves, gaining millions of streams and attracting fans around the world. Now, La Plazuela brings their high-energy live show for their London debut.
