Organised by

Unlike other honours bestowed by HM The King which are awarded via nomination, organisations and companies apply confidentially online for King's Awards for Enterprise.

Applications are processed by the King’s Awards for Enterprise head office in London which is part of the UK Gov Department for Business & Trade. Applications are initially assessed for eligibility and compliance, and then submitted to teams of independent judges who are experts in their field.

It is a rigourous application process as one would expect of an award which bears the name of the monarch. However, if successful, the benefits of being a winner are huge and long lasting. Bearing the King's Award logo, sets your company apart from others, both financially and professionally.

The annual launch of the next round of KAE applications, this year it's on Wednesday 14th May 2025 at The Shell Store, is free to attend. It is where you can find out if you should or could apply for a KAE this year and most importantly, meet previous winners to hear the impact of the award to their organisations. You will meet the Lord-Lieutenant Edward Harley CBE, the champion of KAE in Herefordshire, the KAE panel which is here to support you in your application.
