About this event

Whether you're already an avid builder, never picked up a LEGO brick before, or it's just been a while, join us and connect with others in a relaxed and friendly social setting. Our group is growing. We welcome new members each time.

In addition to the creative benefits, building with LEGO can be therapeutic and a great tool to reduce stress and anxiety.

Group cost:

Although registration here on Eventbrite does not require an online payment, there's a small cost of £1 per person to be paid at each session by cash or card. If paying by cash, it would be great if you could bring exactly £1 to save having to make lots of change. We also have a card machine available for card payments.

* **

This group is strictly for adults aged 16 and over.

*** Instead of a February date, we have two in March - one at the beginning, and one at the end ***

Access

There is ramped access into the building. The event will be held on the ground floor of Duncan Place Community Hub and is wheelchair accessible.

There are two individual toilets on the ground floor with one being wheelchair accessible.

We will be based around tables at this group. There are seats with and without arm rests. Seats are hard plastic. We have some padded chair cushions available on request.

There is foyer space and outdoor space for those that might need to break away to a quieter area during the session.

If there is anything we can do to help you attend these workshops, please get in touch by emailing events@duncanplace.org or telephoning 0131 364 4350.

A beautiful, historic building with a newly refurbished spacious interior and busy community space.

Welcome to Duncan Place in Leith, where great things happen.

You have told us you would like art groups, health and fitness, support and advice, educational activities, social events, groups for children and young adults. We will begin working towards bringing these activities to Leith. Duncan Place is a 'profit for purpose' social enterprise with profit being returned to the building for maintenance, improvements, equipment and community events.
