About this event

Explore Caen Hill , get outside and make new friends on one of our guided walks. Discover local history and spot wildlife whilst spending time by water. This circular walk starts at the public car park at The Locks, off Marsh Lane and includes Jubilee Woods. Pleae arrive 10 minutes before the advertised start time.

Please wear suitable footwear and clothing and be aware that conditions may be muddy underfoot. Due to the nature of the site this route is not suitable for wheelchair users and prams as there are some steps.

These sessions are designed for adults but children are welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult.

Children - Free

Parking on site is free for walk participants, just ask your walk leader for a parking ticket. Well behaved dogs are welcome if on a lead.

There is a toilet in the Caen Hill cafe for customers only

Can children come?

Children are welcome but be aware that the walk is aimed at adults. The site is unsuitable for pushchairs

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, but it must be on a lead at all times. Please be considerate of other walkers and towpath users and clean up after your dog

How far is the walk?

The walk will last between 1-2 hours depending on the group pace, path condition and weather.

Are there bins?

There are no bins on the route. Please take all rubbish home with you.

Where can I park?

There is a car park on site and you can obtain a day parking permit from your walk leader
