Havelock Canal Walk

11.30am-12.30pm Wednesdays

Duration: 1 hour

Slow to Moderate Pace / Fairly Flat

The walk is run by a volunteer walk leader who is full of interesting information about the local area. The canalside walk heads along the Grand Union Canal from Havelock Road Southall towards Glade Lane Canalside Park passing part of the Hanwell Flight of Locks. The walk then goes into the park and then returns canalside. Everyone is welcome.


Getting here

The E5 bus from Southall Train station brings you to the start of the walk.

The meeting point is Bus Stop - E5 Gregory Road (canalside) at Junction of Havelock Road / Isambard Road (wh3words//////worked.plays.ideas)


What you need

The great thing about walking is that you do not need any fancy equipment. Please just wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket if raining.


Book now

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .

Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.

Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions.
