About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Led by our lovely local volunteers this is a great way to be active, meet people and spend time by water.

This circular, 6 mile walk (approx 3 hours) will explore the old route of the Stroudwater Canal before joining the river Severn at Framilode before returning to the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal at Fretherne bridge. Starting and finishing outside the Stables Cafe at Saul Junction. The route includes a number of stiles and some stretches may be muddy.

It's all about meeting people so come along on your own, or bring a friend, and stay for a cup of tea afterwards if you can.

Please wear comfortable shoes, weather appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water. Please let us know if you have any requirements or concerns.
