About this event
- Event lasts 2 hours
In this workshop we will be moving through a mixture of group, individual and partner work, embedding consent processes into movement practice as a way to relish in the intimacy of movement and physicality with your fellow queer folk. Taking inspiration from contact improvisation, view pointing and ensemble, movement we will explore our bodies in relationship to our own boundaries and the boundaries of others. A safer space can often lead to even greater creativity, bolder offers and more experimentation. What does being in consent with your own body really feel like? How can collective care manifest in our embodied practices?
"We’re running a successful event if the people present are in consent, whether or not it’s unfolding exactly as we imagined" Meg-John Barker
