The LMB-IP PhD Symposium 2025 is an international life science symposium organized by students, for students.
PhD students from the MRC LMB and the Institut Pasteur are joining forces to celebrate scientific exchange between the two institutes, as well as between students and leading experts in various fields of the life sciences.
Prepared to be enlightened by cutting-edge research and ground-breaking discoveries? Our speakers cover a diverse array of topics ranging from molecular and structural biology to cellular biology, neurobiology, and beyond. There will also be two workshops covering the topics of "Spinning out research" and "Diversity in science".
Student talks, poster sessions and a 3-Minute-Thesis competition will encourage a lively exchange between successful, recognized scientists and those at the early stages of their career.
The symposium will also include the opportunity for a formal dinner at Homerton College and a pub trip on the final evening.
The event is taking place at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge from 10th July - 11th July 2025. All talks and the panel discussion will also be streamed and available online for virtual participants.
To join and get inspired, please register for the event before 4th July.
To share your research in the form of a talk, a poster, or as part of the 3-Minute Thesis competition, submit an abstract by 30th May.
