Welcome to the London Kayak School Free Adult Club Taster Session!

Ages 18+

Join us for a taster session to our Saturday adult club and discover paddlesports! This event is perfect for adventurers over the age of 18 who want to experience the thrill of kayaking in a safe and supportive environment.

Our experienced instructors will be on hand to provide guidance and ensure everyone has a great time on the water. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to try something new and discover the joy of kayaking! See you there!

What should I pack for my time on the water?

Bring a towel and a change of clothes. We provide all t

Do I need to be able to swim to learn to kayak?

No, whilst swimming is desirable it is not necessary. All sessions are led by an experienced Instructor and participants are all issued with a Buoyancy Aid to help keep them afloat, but individuals should ideally be confident in the water.

Is previous kayaking experience required?

No, our club is designed to accommodate all skill levels, from total beginners to experienced paddlers. Our instructors will provide appropriate instruction based on your level of experience.

Do you kayak in the winter?

Yes, of course! As the saying goes, ‘there’s no such thing as bad weather

What happens if there’s bad weather?

Safety is our top priority. In the event of severe inclement weather making the conditions unsafe, we may reschedule or cancel the session. We will do our best to notify you in advance and provide alternative options

With a passion for kayaking and a dedication to coaching, Mike started the school to share his knowledge and skills with others and help them discover the joys of kayaking.
