Frequently asked questions

What is your refund policy?

A Minimum of 3 days - for a full refund (i am unable to provide a refund for cancellations made up to 48 hours pre-event, or for no-shows)

What clothing/footwear should i take?

Always check the weather forecast in advance. Please wear suitable clothing for the day - i.e. wicking/moisture proof t-shirt preferable, comfortable trousers or shorts (denim jeans not advisable!). Wear trainers or walking shoes. A waterproof jacket is essential, optional for waterproof trousers.

Is food and water supplied?

No. Please bring your own snacks and a packed lunch if you wish, or purchase food pretty much anywhere along the route. Essential to bring a minimum of 500ml /1 litre of water. You can purchase more on the day if required.

How hard is the walk? Do i need previous experience of walking the distance required on the day?

The route is pretty flat, aside from some steps to the bridges. But flat, pavement walking can irritate the feet, and leg muscles. Tip - bring some plasters just in case! 28km is a pretty long walk! You don't need to be super fit, but try and get out beforehand to test your legs and walking stamina!

Can i bring my dog?

No. London is a bustling city, with thousands of tourists, cyclists, pedestrians, and of course traffic! As much as i love dogs, i can't take responsibility for the safety of your beloved pet. Plus, 28km is a pretty long walk for even the most hardy of dogs!

Is the walk wheelchair accessible?

This challenge isn't suitable for those needing to use a wheelchair.
