Members-only event: Woods Mill Afternoon Wander

Join Tony Whitbread, President of Sussex Wildlife Trust, for a wander around the varied habitats of the nature reserve at Woods Mill, looking and listening out for seasonal wildlife, followed by refreshments back at the mill.

The walk will be at a gentle pace, on flat but uneven terrain, and last approximately 1.5 hours, with lots of opportunities to stop and ask questions along the way.

Meeting Point: Woods Mill, Henfield BN5 9SD

We will meet at the picnic tables directly across the bridge from the car park.

Public toilets can be found in the car park.

What to bring: Sturdy walking boots, clothes for all weathers, hat, sun cream and water. Refreshments will be provided but please bring your own cup. We recommend bringing binoculars, if you have them.

Public transport: Compass Bus 100 Burgess Hill-Pulborough stops outside Woods Mill. Monday – Saturday service. Check timetable for updates

Accessibility: We may leave the main footpaths and a reasonable degree of fitness is required.
