D﻿oors open at 7 pm and there will be an opening act (TBC). Micheal&#x27;s hour will begin around 8 pm. He is a regular host and performer at the club and we are super excited to have him I’m (Michael) doing an OXFORD work in progress of my first hour-long-stand-up-show. What a buzz! It is mostly about that feeling when you have an emotion, the horrible bit between knowing one is coming and burying it under the patio. It is funny though. Some real stylish and sincere antipathy, not that shit you get on the internet. I perform at all the comedy clubs, am represented by The Comedy Store and have supported Rhys James, Tom Ward and othersWith a friendly and electric atmosphere, Saturdays at Common Ground are one of the best places to see live comedy around. Jericho Comedy has recently been recommended in the Times, The Sunday Times, the iPaper and the Telegraph. Our Saturday shows have won the Chortle industry award two years in a row in 2019 and 2020 for being the best comedy night in the area. &#x27;Top 4 most memorable shows of 2020&#x27; Chortle. Nominated for the 2021 Spirit of the Leicester Comedy Festival. As heard on BBC Radio 4.Expect some adult themes. Excessive or disruptive chat during performances isn&#x27;t cool, a bit like in the theatre or cinema. We encourage large groups above 6 to contact us before booking to we can try to seat you together :) There are no steps at this venue. Message us if you&#x27;d like to know more about the setup
