Welcome to the Midwinter Solstice 'Wild Space' Gathering!

Date: December 21st, 2022

Location: Maldon

Come join us for a couple of hours as the light fades on the shortest day. A chance to take a pause in the build up to Christmas and share our appreciation for nature and what the Wild Space provides at this time. We encourage you to 'Bring something to the fire' to share with others. It can be anything from a poem, a song or even a plate of treats to share with others that celebrates the changing seasons as we look towards the light of a new year.

There are things to consider for this event...

There will be mulled drinks on offer but please bring your own mug.

It will be dark when you enter the site please bring a torch

The fire will be lit so care must be taken when moving around the fire circle

It will be chilly so wrap up warm

The parking is all residental, please walk if you can and if not please be considerate.

This event is hosted by Heybridge & Maldon Climate Action Partnership who manage the Wild Space. Donations will be taken at the event to help support the improvements onsite
