About this event

Join the Countryside Rangers for a short walk around Milngavie Reservoirs to stretch your legs, take in some fresh air, and have a natter with fellow walkers – we might even spot some wildlife en-route!

Our gentle walking routes range from 2-4km and last up to an hour, encompassing woodland, impressive Victorian infrastructure, and open views across the reservoirs out towards Glasgow and the wider Clyde Valley.

Whether you're looking to improve your fitness, connect with others, or simply enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, our friendly, guided walks offer something for individuals of all fitness levels and ages.

Please wear comfortable clothing that is suitable for the weather and bring a bottle of water; we recommend bringing a raincoat (just in case!) and wearing sturdy shoes to ensure your safety and comfort throughout the walk. You may also want to bring a flask with a hot drink to help keep warm.

This walk is FREE as part of the Scottish Health Walk Network - please note that booking is not mandatory!

Meet at the James M Gale Memorial, Milngavie, Glasgow, G62 8HF on Wednesdays at 10:30am.
