‘Yoga is the stilling of the fluctuating states of mind’. - the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
This in-person yoga group is open to anyone bereaved by suicide, no matter how long ago.
Losing someone to suicide has a huge impact on our mental and physical heath and yoga practice can support our minds and bodies as we learn how to live in our changed selves. The sessions focus on the mind-body connection and aim to promote moments of peacefulness both on and off the mat.
Sessions are offered weekly by a Yoga Alliance registered teacher who isalso bereaved by suicide. An additional teacher offers Sound Bath healing each week for the group.
Although the teachers offers their time for free, the event ticket sales cover the cost of the studio so please pay what you can afford to support this.
The group has a welcoming atmosphere where we can connect and practice with others who have experienced this unique form of bereavement.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, this group is open to all levels, everyone is welcome.
