Where is Conway Mill?

Conway Mill is located on Conway street, off the Falls Rd in west Belfast. Look for Falls Leisure Centre and the job centre. The side street next to the job centre is Conway street - turn onto Conway street and you will see the mill. The entrance to the mill is through the car park gates.

Where is the design studio located in the mill?

The studio is located on the second floor of the new mill. Upon arrival, ask at the reception desk for directions on how to find the studio on the second floor. The studio is closed before 9am, please wait with your child if you arrive early.

Parking is available in Conway Mill Car park, or on Conway street adjacent to the mill.

Is the tutor police checked?

Accepted Answer

Yes, MaryRose is fully police checked and has taught many children how to sew over the past decade.

What does my child need to bring to camp each day?

Accepted Answer

Each child should bring a drink and a snack each day.
STRICTLY NO NUTS or FOOD CONTAING NUTS are allowed in the studio at any time.

What if my child has a health or medical condition, or an allergy?

Accepted Answer

It is important that we know if your child has a food allergy or a medical condition.
When booking, fill out the relevant information section and explain any health, medical or food allergy conditions your child has, so we can support them if needed during camp.

Question 9

Can I drop my child off at the mill entrance to make their own way to the studio?

Accepted Answer

Please do not drop your child off at the mill reception, as this goes against the Conway Mill Child Protection policy. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the mill, and the child must be brought to and from the studio by an adult each day.

Can I drop my child off earlier than 9am?

Accepted Answer

Early drop off is not available, studio doors open at 9am each day. If you and your child arrive early for class, please wait with your child until 9am.
