To celebrate her new book, Ana Francisco Sutherland will discuss the research behind the publication and present a selection of featured projects. Her talk will explore the history of Span estates (1954–1984) and the influential work of Eric Lyons, alongside one-off houses designed by architects such as Patrick Gwynne, Walter Greaves and Peter Moro. Ana will examine the origins of each building and highlight the relationships between the architects, their clients, and the local context.
