Aim: DaManDem Movement: Empowering Black Business Men and Entrepreneurs.

Mission: The Purest Water for EVERY Afrikan Child.

Sponsored by: Black Bee Farmers

Vision: The DaManDem Movement is proud to partner with Black Bee Farmers, whose commitment to sustainability and community mirrors the spirit of our mission.

Just as bees work tirelessly as a collective to protect their hive, produce honey, and sustain their ecosystem, the DaManDem Movement draws inspiration from their teamwork and resilience. We believe that by working together, protecting each other, and nurturing our community, we can create something truly sweet—transformative growth and empowerment for Black men across the globe.

About the Movement: Founded by Tehuti Ptah Djed (also known as Djedi), the DaManDem Movement is a global platform for Black men to holistically explore mind, body, and spirit. Guided by the principles of self-love, self-respect, leadership, and expanded consciousness, the movement creates a safe space where members can grow, learn, and thrive. Through teamwork and collective effort, we honour the legacy of our ancestors, challenge societal norms, and strive to uplift our brothers. Much like a hive of bees, we recognise that our strength lies in unity, and our mission is not just personal transformation but the collective betterment of our community.

The Black Bee Philosophy: From Black Bee Farmers, we are reminded of these timeless lessons:

1. Teamwork Builds Strength: Every bee plays a vital role in the hive, just as every man has a unique contribution to make to the community.

2. Protection and Boundaries: Just as bees fiercely defend their hive, we protect our emotional, mental, and physical well-being by setting healthy boundaries.

3. Sweet Rewards of Hard Work: With consistent effort and unity, we produce the sweetness of life—joy, resilience, and progress. These principles guide the DaManDem Movement in nurturing a "hive" where men can grow individually and as part of a thriving collective.

A Community of Growth and Brotherhood The DaManDem Movement fosters a sense of brotherhood, where men from all walks of life come together to support, uplift, and hold each other accountable. We embrace our roles as leaders, healers, and protectors within our communities.

Key highlights include: Physical Fitness: Activities such as yoga, boxing, and fitness training cultivate strength, endurance, and discipline.

Mental Health: Meditation, group therapy, and coaching provide tools for clarity, emotional intelligence, and resilience.

Spiritual Growth: Through self-awareness and connection with the divine, members find purpose and peace. We offer weekly events in Birmingham, including Warriors Return on Sundays and Group Therapy on Fridays. These sessions strengthen the body and soul while fostering meaningful connections.

Supporting Fathers and Afrikan Children With the support of sponsors like Black Bee Farmers, the DaManDem Movement focuses on:

1. Fatherhood: We provide a safe space for absent fathers to reconnect, for great fathers to celebrate, and for men to learn from one another in their fathering journeys.

2. Afrikan Children: Our mission includes providing The Purest Water for Afrikan Children, addressing the water crisis in Africa to ensure every child has access to clean, life-sustaining water.

Join the Movement Together, we are stronger. Join us as we build a legacy of love, leadership, and social impact. Be part of the hive—empowered, resilient, and unified.

Frequently asked questions

Will we be doing yoga?

Yes. We do light chair yoga to increase mobility.

Why is this space just for Black Men?

The idea of "political blackness" originated in the United Kingdom in the 1970s. It was a movement that advocated for the use of "black" as an umbrella term for anyone in the UK who was likely to experience discrimination based on their skin color.
