About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

What can nature teach us about how we grow, source and relate to food?

In this thoughtful session, Dr Tony Whitbread explores how natural systems, when we understand and work with them, can help us create more resilient and regenerative food systems. Drawing on decades of experience in conservation and ecology, Tony makes the case for looking to the land itself for answers, from soil health to biodiversity.

This talk connects the dots between ecology and agriculture, showing how principles from the natural world can guide us to better, more sustainable choices for both people and planet.

What to expect:

  • Insights into how ecosystems and food systems are connected
  • Reflections on what we can learn from biodiversity, cycles and natural balance
  • Practical questions to consider about how and what we eat
  • A chance to rethink food through the lens of regeneration and resilience
