Join our FREE NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health!

The class is to run face to face every Monday from 10am to 2.30pm at Pembury Community Centre and online every Wednesday 10am-2.30pm. The course will be run across 10 weeks.

This course is designed to increase learners’ knowledge and understanding of mental health and mental well-being. The course will also support learner progression into relevant employment within the health and social care sector.

The objectives of this qualification are to help learners to understand:

• mental health legislation, services and public attitudes and how these have evolved.
• how to support mental well-being through various stages of life.
• mental ill health, treatment options available and the potential consequences of mental ill health.
• the skills required to work in a mental health service.
