This isn't just about success - it's about significance.
Wayne Phillips, Consultant, Advisory Board Member
Wayne joined IBM as a graduate trainee in systems engineering and remains, at heart, a techie. He spent 13 years at IBM and left as the director of the global customer base of national intelligence. He joined Microsoft and performed many roles for over 17 years there. His final role was EMEA Managing Director of Defence, Intelligence, Public Safety, Justice and Cyber Security.
After a year of minding his own business in 'retirement', Wayne joined Amazon Web Services to help build the EMEA Public Sector business. He left after 10 years as the General Manager of Public Sector Partners. Today, he is having another go at retirement, helping NATO with an IT modernisation programme and as an advisory board member to several technology firms, except on Wednesdays when he looks after his grandson!
Wayne will speak on 'How to thrive as a business'. With over 40 years in the technology industry, he has developed a passion and skill for helping firms transform to become the most successful versions of themselves regarding profitability and valuation. Wayne will share some thoughts and actions businesses can take to ensure they reach their potential.
