About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

It is estimated that 15% or more of the population (at least 3 out of every 20), has a neurodivergent condition (ACAS, 2019) which includes autistics, dyslexics, dyspraxics, dyscalculics and people who have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Tourette’s syndrome.

Having an understanding of neurodiversity, a proactive approach towards different types of cognitive thinking, a shift in perspective regarding strengths and challenges leads to a society which neurodiversity smart, inclusive and more diverse. If we take this understanding a step further, and we look into how some mental health conditions co-exist in neurodiverse individuals, we will be better equipped to support their mental and physical health.
