Newcastle City Guides Season Ticket 2025.
Season tickets offer access to over 50 different heritage walks throughout the year, as well as the City Highlights tours, which run daily during the summer. Walking tours usually run on Sunday (afternoon) and Wednesday (afternoon or evening) from May till early November.
They make wonderful gifts for anyone interested in the history, heritage and culture of Newcastle, Gateshead and the surrounding Tyneside area.
You can book online for each tour to guarantee your place but walk-ups may be available on the day.
Please note - you MUST bring your season ticket with you to each event or you will be asked to pay.
Your ticket will be posted but if you attend an event before receiving it, please show your e-ticket to the Guide in attendance.
Please note that season tickets are not valid for Grey’s Monument openings, Guildhall tours, performances or special events. Tickets are non-transferable and must be produced for each tour, or the normal tour price will apply.
Safety Information
To attend our walks you need to be reasonably fit, prepared to be responsible for your own safety, and to supervise any children in your care. Appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended. A bottle of water, an umbrella and an extra layer wouldn't go amiss. The British weather is notoriously changeable! Newcastle is an historic city with uneven pavements and narrow passages add to its unique character. There are also often steps to navigate. Our walks take approximately 90 minutes, are you comfortable walking and standing for that length of time? We try to stick to footpaths and use pedestrian crossings where available. If you have any pre-medical conditions or injuries that may affect you walking or feel unwell during a walk, please let your Guide know.
