Come and enjoy the wonders of the dawn chorus!

Experience the tranquility of the fen creation area and surrounding woodland early in the morning and listen to the beautiful birdsong, identifying with the help of our expert guide a wide range of birds from their calls and songs.

What you will need:

Please wear sturdy footwear and dress warmly/ bring waterproof clothing if rain is forecast*

Refreshments will be provided after the walk.

You can find parking at Nosterfield Quarry car park, Flask Lane, DL8 2QZ

To find the visitor centre car park, turn right off the B6267, just before you enter the village of Nosterfield as you head in the direction of Masham. It has a stone 'Nosterfield Quarry' sign marking the turning. It is then an immediate left turn into the car park.
