About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Rewilding Noir is a new, warm, welcoming space to come together with other Black and Brown women (including cis and trans women) to explore, practice, share and create rituals for self-care in a world that isn't designed with us in mind. Come and spend time, sitting on the earth amongst trees and like-minded folk to prioritise yourself. The world is not OK right now, so there’s never been a more important moment to devote some time to yourself and redefine what self-care can look like for you in the era of collapse.

Small acts of regular self-care actually have the power to raise our vibrations, nurture our nervous system, enrich our connection with self and others, reveal magic in the human experience, highlight Black joy, transform who we’re becoming and be a portal to liberation. So, let’s prioritise this time together.

Time: 10.30am – 12.30

Why prioritise self-care?

Self-care:

💫 holds space for us when the world has us on our knees;

💫 fuels us so that we’re better resourced to help others;
💫 enables us to sit with and process the full breadth of our emotions;
💫 inspires us to access moments of joy and freedom;
💫empowers us to evolve into newer iterations of ourselves.

You are invited to show up as your full self, without judgement.

I will do my best to centre a decolonised way of being together, actively striving to disrupt any perfectionism, scarcity mindset, imposter syndrome, judgement etc that may show up.

Let’s make our wellness the foundation of our path to liberation.

Please note, Rewilding Noir is queer friendly and welcomes all women including cis and trans women. You don’t have to be fit or flexible or look a certain way. All Black and Brown body identities, backgrounds and abilities are welcome.

I’m Saskia (she/her), a 300 hour hatha yoga guide and sound + vibration facilitator. I have an interview series on Substack called How We Rewild, where I invite Black and Brown folks to weave and share their indispensable, divine guide on how they self-care in a world that isn't designed for us.

*I'm offering this as a free session at the moment, as it's so new.
