How will I access the conference?

The conference papers will be pre-recorded and you will receive a link to those videos ten days before the conference begins. You should watch the papers at your leisure.

On 9th and 10th November, the live elements will take place on Zoom.

What are the live elements of the conference?

On 9th-10th Nov, the keynote speakers will present live. 
The panelists, who will have pre-recorded their talks, will be available for live Q&As.
Workshops and discussion forums will also be live.

Which parts of the conference will be recorded?

Accepted Answer

The panelists will pre-record their papers. Delegates will be sent links to the recordings ten days before the conference begins, to watch at their leisure. The Q&As will happen live on 9th & 10th Nov & will be recorded.
The keynote speeches, workshops & discussion forum will NOT be recorded.

How long will I be able to access the recorded content?

The papers will be available for you to view at your leisure for a fortnight before the conference.
The live events will be recorded and uploaded to shared Drive.
All content will be available for you to view until 11th December.

Do I need to pay for a Zoom account?

Accepted Answer

No. But you will need sign-up for a free Zoom account, if you have not done so before. You can do that on the Zoom page: https://zoom.us/

Question 6

I missed the conference, can I watch a recording?

Accepted Answer

There will be an asynchronous ticket on sale between 11th Nov-11th Dec. It costs £10. It will give you access to the recorded panel papers and Q&As. It won't give you access to the keynotes, the workshops or the discussion forum.  The recordings will be taken down on 12th Dec.
