Frequently asked questions

I need an access code to get my ticket. How do I get the access code?

Email sue.fraser@potentialtobe.com and ask for the code.

Do I have to commit to attend every month?

No. Although it's called a book ‘club’, no commitment is required to turn up each month. Needless to say, it would be great if you did come each month as everyone will get to know each other better, which is half the fun.

I prefer listening to books rather than reading them. Will the books be available on Audible?

Yes. All the books will be available in traditional print or Audible. I’m sure most are also available on Kindle (or other e-book format).

What happens during book club?

I’ll kick off by asking some easy questions to break the ice, and then it’s up to everyone to share their thoughts, opinions and ideas. The books are about business, so we’ll no doubt end up discussing which concepts you already apply in your business, which ones you’d like to apply, and which ones

Are there any rules at Business Book Club?

Yes. The only rule is that we respect each other.

What if I haven’t read the book in time?

Please don’t attend the session if you haven’t read (or listened to, if that’s your preference) at LEAST 80% of the book.

Are you doing this for free to sell other stuff to us?

No, I genuinely want to read the books and discuss them with like-minded business people.

What do I need to do if I want to attend?

It's simple! Read or listen to the whole book before attending, and be prepared to share your thoughts during the meeting.
