At 1pm the group will gather at Burr Point and be lead by the artist on a 3 hour coastal walk around magnificent headlands.

This event is a great opportunity to relax, unwind, and connect with nature. Don't miss out on this unique experience! See you in Ballyhalbert on Thursday 15 May at 1pm: as the Siren continues to journey through the villages, to the Millisle finale event.

Refreshments will be available at the walk finish in Ballywalter please bring a reusable cup if you'd like a hot cuppa.

This event is part of OUR SIREN SONG—is Beat Carnival’s exciting coastal arts and climate action project, located on the County Down coastline, with a central focus on the Ards Peninsula and reaching out to other parts of Northern Ireland. Artistic and environmental activities are offered free, as part of an exciting Uk-wide programme and festival, Beach of Dreams.

Our Siren Song is Beat Carnival’s Beach of Dreams project in Northern Ireland. It offers creative programmes on the Ards Peninsula coast that engage local artists and communities in meaningful activities to highlight the beauty, heritage and ecology of our coastline.

The project will culminate with a community arts event at Millisle Beach on 17th May 2025 at 3pm during the UK Beach of Dreams Festival. Our siren will call people to the coast: her song will be a love song for our sea and shore, and a call to action, to preserve this precious resource for future generations.
