Join Pam for a nature collecting, identifying and exploratory painting experience. Suitable for beginners, this is the perfect opportunity to learn some unconventional painting techniques to create your very own work of art based on nature.
To last approximately 3 hours, the first half of the session will involve a short walk where students will be directed to seek and collect items of interest from trees and vegetation which interest and inspire them. The walk to be followed by a demonstration of painting techniques and a short break. The second half of the session will involve students then practicing and using the taught techniques and others they discover for themselves, to apply and mix various colours and compose expressive work in paint which appeal to them.
Suitable for beginners and all materials will be provided.

These walks, talks and workshops from local tutors, artists and experts, offer a chance to experience nature and the Gorge in a new way – we hope that you enjoy them!
Severn Gorge Countryside Trust
This workshop is being hosted by the Severn Gorge Countryside Trust, a local charity.
The Trust’s aim is to promote, protect and conserve the living landscape of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, which has a diverse range of habitats, including wildflower meadows, woodlands and heathlands. But that’s not all! We maintain over 20 kilometres of footpaths, conserve and protect 60 historic structures, run exciting Outdoor Learning and Volunteering Programmes to encourage local people and visitors to engage with the natural environment in a variety of ways.
All proceeds from this workshop will support the work of the Severn Gorge Countryside Trust.
