PACT is a programme to address young people’s abuse towards parents. The aim is to provide professionals with tools and interventions for working with families where a young person is abusive or to support a young person to reflect on behaviours. This bite size briefing however does not cover the whole PACT programme.
The aim of training is to develop professional capacity in frontline practitioners to work with parents and children by giving them an overview of PACT, intervention tools and resources.
This is suitable for a range of professionals working with young people and families such as pastoral workers, early help workers, family support workers, student welfare officers, designated safegurading leads, youth workers etc.
