The second in a series of three seminars working at the intersection of Education Studies, English, and Philosophy of Education. This seminar will address political issues in relation to English studies, from the political of language and literature to curriculum design. The event will begin with presentations from Dr. Lesley Nelson-Addy (Education Consultant), Dr. Ian Cushing (Manchester Metropolitan University), and Dr. Rachel Roberts (University of Reading). The series is funded by the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain, in conjunction with BA/Leverhulme, and it is hosted by the Institute for Research in Education at the University of Bedfordshire.
