About this event
The Global Games Industry Conference Series
The internationally acclaimed Pocket Gamer Connects conference series begins a 2025 global expansion of its events portfolio with the launch of PGC Barcelona on June 3-4.
Barcelona is a rapidly growing destination for existing and new games companies, especially in the mobile space, with the likes of Scopely, King, Rovio, Bandai Namco, Sandsoft, Social Point/Zynga and Gameloft all having offices established, plus a wave of startup companies and, of course, many more across Spain as a whole.
PGC Barcelona marks an exciting new chapter for the b2b networking and knowledge-sharing event, and builds on the remarkable success of the PGC series, which has already welcomed over 55,000 attendees from more than 70 countries across 49 conferences, and influenced an estimated $1.5 billion in deals across its 11-year history.

Networking For All
The most important aspect of any conference is who you will meet and do business with. Deals are done, and friendships are made. So we put networking at the heart of the conference – the clue's in the name!
Of course, the schedule will be packed with our trademark focused seminars. But the event is called Connects because that’s what we help you do: connect with the whole industry, from new indie studios to the media, international investors, publishers, and service providers.
Unlike other event organisers, we offer the MeetToMatch meeting platform free to all delegates, so you can find that perfect contact and arrange to meet them in person in our dedicated meeting zones. Plus, there'll be at least one big party and a few fringe events to further help put people together.
Pairing Developers With Publishers And Investors
Our fringe events are back! We'll be running Publisher SpeedMatch and Investor Connector live at the venue. These curated sessions pair mobile, PC, and console developers with publishers and investors in a series of meetings.
These short, sharp encounters enable first contact for you to follow up with a longer meeting if you find a potential partner. It’s a shop window for devs to display their wares and a pipeline of prospects for anyone looking to sign up-and-coming talent.
These activities require sign-up in advance because space is very limited. Once you have your ticket, look out for the application forms on the official site.
And, for indie developers, there are additional specific opportunities…
All About The Indies!
Indie devs are the lifeblood of the games industry and Pocket Gamer Connects champions their work. The show floor has a dedicated Big Indie Zone for known names and newcomers alike to display their talent to the audience. This is a vibrant and varied expo area for publishers looking to sign promising titles. In order to support the community, we always keep a few tables in reserve to give away free to deserving developers – check out the official site for details of how to apply.
And, of course, our popular Very Big Indie Pitches will be back in force with indie devs competing to impress a panel of expert judges. The pitching competition is open to mobile, PC, console developers this year.
The winners could walk away with prizes and online marketing worth thousands of dollars, coverage on the site, useful feedback, plus the warm glow of celebration. It's also a chance to sit down with the most experienced judges in the business.
These activities require sign-up in advance because space is very limited. Once you have your ticket, look out for the pitch application forms the PGC Barcelona site.
The Networking Continues
If that sounds a bit serious, Day 1 closes with our wonderful Pocket Gamer Party – that’s where the networking goes on into the night, and you might just make lifelong friends, fortunes, and memories.
