Poetry open mic DOWNSTAIRS at the Spice of Life - third Thursday of every month. 1.30pm. For people of all experiences and levels to come and share their lovely poems. Or just come along and be part of the audience. Sign up on the day between 1pm and 1.30pm if you'd like to read. Time willing, everyone will get 5 minutes (or 3 minutes each if it's particularly busy on the day). This event can be very busy so please arrive before 1.30pm to guarantee a reading spot. Despite the event's title, you can read any poems on any theme you like.
