About this event

This event is only for Open University staff and PhD students. PolicyWISE is delighted to announce its training calendar for Spring 2025 – a series of training sessions open to staff and research students across the OU to support with developing four nations policy and political understanding, achieving policy engagement and impact from research, and undertaking comparative policy analysis. No prior knowledge/experience of policy engagement is needed but we do encourage participants to reflect on the impact they want to achieve from research they are involved in ahead of the sessions.

All sessions will be held online, will be run by members of the PolicyWISE team and are between 1-2.5 hours in length. The PolicyWISE Core Training Sessions will all be run twice in order to provide more options of timings to participants – ideally, Core Training Sessions should be attended in sequence as each session will build on the previous one.

If you have any questions, please contact policywise@open.ac.uk
