Frequently asked questions

What is your refund policy?

We require a minimum of 7 days notice if you are unable to make the workshop. You can also email direct to info@clayworkshop.co.uk in case you need to reschedule your workshop.

When will I get my pieces?

You can collect your pottery pieces 4-6 weeks after the workshop. This is because the clay pieces need time to dry and go through two firings.

Can you deliver my pieces once I have made them?

Yes! We can arrange delivery if you can't come and collect them. This will come at an additional cost. Please email info@clayworkshop.co.uk to arrange this.

How long is the workshop?

The workshop is 3 hours long.

Is the location wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately not. There are stairs to get into the studio.

Can I bring children?

Our workshops are designing for people aged 14+. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Is there a toilet at the studio?

Yes, we have toilets on site.

Do I need to bring food or water?

We suggest you maybe bring a bottle of water. We will have some in case you forget. Please do eat before though as there is no food allowed because of the clay dust.

Will I get dirty/messy?

You may get little bits on clay on your clothes. However we provide aprons which minimises this. Clay also comes out very easily with just water!

Can I do this with long nails?

We recommend coming with shorter nails. Having long nails can sometimes make it tricky to work with the clay.
