Practicing your Pitch: Pitch Deck Essentials

What is it?

Our Practicing Your Pitch season is focused on supporting startup founders as they get ready to present their ideas. Through a series of interactive online sessions, we'll be looking at different aspects of pitching and how a good pitch can change the journey of your startup.

What can I expect?

This month, we’re focusing on the essentials of a strong pitch deck. Whether you're starting from scratch or refining an existing deck, we'll explore fundamentals like content, structure and design for a successful pitch deck.

With expert guidance from our speaker, you’ll learn what makes a pitch deck clear, persuasive, and investor-ready, helping you tell your startup’s story with confidence.

Who else will be there?

You will be joined by others from the Scottish tech ecosystem. The session will be hosted by Lisa Portz, and faciliated by members of the CodeBase team.

Where and when is this taking place?

This event will take place on Zoom at 13:00 on Wednesday the 14th of May, and last for approximately 90 minutes.

You should be able to access the Zoom meeting via the online event page on Eventbrite, and you will receive an additional link in your reminder email before the event!

Registration

We ask everyone to sign up individually, so we can have an estimate of how many people want to attend. We will also check-in each person on Eventbrite as they join the event so make sure you've signed up to the event in order to attend!
