This webinar will be hosted by Jake Fox, Syndicate Lead at South East Angels. You will be joined by other members of the Scottish tech ecosytem. This session will be facilitated by CodeBase staff.

Who is Jake Fox?

As Syndicate Lead for South East Angels, Jake engages with the startup community and leads the dealflow process for the group's investor members, leading on startup vetting, selection, and deal close. Previously Jake's experience covered strategy consulting, growth roles in tech startups and as a startup founder providing on-demand tech talent.

What is South East Angels?

Founded in 2021 with only 5 founding members, South East Angels is an active angel group based out of Sussex, that invests in pre-seed and seed-stage startups across a range of sectors from around the UK.
The syndicate backs innovative startups that are positively impacting the world. To date, the group have deployed £2.9M+ capital into 31 startups. Their community led approach aims to increase the success of angel investing through diversity of thought, high-quality deal access, and education.
In 2024, SEA was listed as a finalist for ‘Angel Group of the Year’ at the UK Business Angels Association Awards, and hosted the biggest angel conference in the UK.
