We are delighted to be bring the popular Proctology Roadshow to Chichester. This highly rated course allows delegates to gain a greater understanding of proctology conditions and procedures. The course combines small lectures with practical experience to give delegates a thorough understanding of a range of conditions and how to manage them. The course is open to all but most valuable for senior colorectal trainees. Places have rapidly been filled in previous courses so early registration is recomended.

Learning objective

-Understand and identify different proctology conditions and diseases including haemorrhoids, fissures, warts, STI, AIN, pruritis ani, perianal dermatology, pilonidal disease, anal fistula, perianal Crohn's disease and rectovaginal fistula, and the corresponding treatment options

-Gain knowledge on operative procedures including EUA, lateral sphincterotomy, haemorrhoidopexy, advancement flap and LIFT and the conditions in which they are applied

-Through the operative practical sessions, apply theoretical knowledge into practice and manage basic and advanced proctology conditions, and conduct relevant procedures on porcine models

-Learn how to read and interpret Proctology MRI and utilise this practice in diagnosing and managing proctology conditions

-Engage in a Proctology MDT, or Multi-disciplinary Team discussion with experts in the field, with the aim to discuss clinical cases, and understand the roles of different members of the MDT while managing proctology conditions
